Ocean Cat 30 High speed Catamaran Sportfisherman

Design No. 386Length overall 30'-0"
Beam 11'-3"
Hull draft 16"
  Weight without engines 4400 lbs.
Construction: Kevlar/e-glass hybrid with Core cell core.
Speed with twin 225 hp Outboard motors 48 mph.
Accommodations: Sleeps 2 in double berth stateroom in port hull. A head with lavatory and shower is in starboard hull, and the galley is in cockpit on the starboard side. A settee on the port side can serve as a pilot berth. A fish box is located in the cockpit deck on the starboard side and two live wells are provided forward of the motor wells.

The Ocean Cat demi-hulls are semi-displacement in hull form with a 10:1 slenderness ratio. The semi-displacement vee bottom sections and sharp fine entry give the boat a very soft ride and slender hulls make her fuel efficient. Given power the hull rises slightly and accelerates. By using  exotic laminates in the hull a light strong structure was attained that allows the boat to make remarkable speed with little horsepower.
The Ocean Cat has proven to be an excellent offshore sea boat in even severe sea conditions.
