The Cutthroat is a high speed tunnel boat catamaran. The hulls are assymetrical deep-vee in form with 2 ventilated transverse bottom steps and two planing strakes. The hull structure was designed to Det Norske Veritas rules for high speed craft. When powered with 300 HP engines it is capable of 60+ knot speeds. Passenger seating in the boat is race boat style bucket seats giving the feel of a tunnel boat racing experience. Cutthroat was not only designed by Daniel J. Avoures and Assoc. it was also built by Daniel Avoures at his St. Petersburg, Fl facility.
