The largest Boats built by Trumpy in Annapolis were a pair of 83 footers. We restored the second boat built to that design, the yacht WISHING STAR, original name PINTAIL. This yacht is a flush deck cockpit motor yacht. The vessel came to us in very poor condition having suffered from neglect for many years. This necessitated virtually gutting the boat and starting over to upgrade and restore. Daniel Avoures and Associates, Inc. designed the new interior as well as all new mechanical and electrical systems. The restorations included replacing the entire bottom of the boat which was double planked mahogany, as well as much of the topsides. The superstructure and decks also required rebuilding. All systems were renewed to modern upgraded specifications. When relaunched the WISHING STAR  was really a new boat and was featured in the January 1999  issue of SHOWBOATS.
