Daniel Avoures started out in the marine business some 45 years ago working on wooden boats as an apprentice boat carpenter and painter eventually becoming a master shipwright. For 20 years he owned and operated the yacht repair yard Noa Marine, Inc. in St. Petersburg, Fl. The yard was well known for wooden yacht restorations. Most notably Noa Marine, Inc., restored numerous Trumpy motor yachts.
